New items from last week:  banana/coconut shortbread, chocolate chip/pretzel bars, SSSC #5,. chocolate covered key lime cake pops, and tropical landscaping.

We are now playing the waiting game with our rather small patio garden, so stay tuned and you may see a few things featured in some upcoming items.

The May issue of our newsletter had been delivered to your virtual mailbox and is also available in the store.  Sign up on our Homepage for the newsletter since the emailed version has a valuable coupon. 

Graduation season is in full swing, so don't wait too long to order a cake for the big party.  There is a physical limit to the number of cake orders which we can handle each weekend.  This unfortunately happened just this past weekend, so please don't wait until one or two days before to order.  But we will always try and accomodate whenever possible.

Memorial Day is almost here.  Since we are closed on Mondays, we will be more than happy to fill any orders that you may have for bread, rolls, pies, cupcakes, etc. for pickup Friday, Saturday or Sunday to help make your first picnic of the summer a success.

New items from last week:  Mojito cupcakes, cranberry/polenta shortbread, coffee cheesecake, chunky PB/chocolate chip biscotti, and in case you haven't noticed, new freshly ground coffee.

The May newsletter should be in you virtual mailbox.  If not, sigh up since the emailed newsletter has a coupon, while the copies in the store do not.

So if anyone read the Sunday edition of the Press this weekend, you may have noticed their choice for the weekly restaurant review.  All that I can say is that anyplace that sells food has a right to be reviewed.....but there should be a line drawn somewhere.   Needless to say that their review of an all you can eat buffet was a bit surprising.  Even more surprising was their use of the word "chef" to describe the cooks, cooking the food.  What's next?  Maybe a review of the new Taco Bell in Consumer Square?  At least if it was an independantly owned buffet, or an upscale buffet, or even a new take on the buffet concept, I might be a little more understanding. 

Anyway, Mother"s Day is less than a week away! Don't wait until the last minute to order something from our Mother's Day menu for pickup Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

New items from last week:  apple/cherry pie cupcakes, ricotta cheesecakes, UPDATED lunch menu, and NEW hours of operation.

The lunch menu has been updated with a new salad, some made to order guacamole, and a new sandwich.  No more portabella sandwich (sorry) and bleu cheese dip has been put on vacation as well. 

SSSC is full for May, and only a few spots available for June.  Speak to the boss for details. 

Once again, we will go over the driving/parking guidelines for Brownies Squared.  These are just guidelines, so if you don't follow them, it's at your own risk.  Hanthorn is one way.  You can only park on the left side of Hanthorn, if not, be prepared to get honked at.  Today we witnessed all of the above before noon. 

New items from last week:  chocolate dipped donut bites, apple crumb pies, three seed shortbread, lemon poppy seed sandwich cookies, and final adjustments on the new lunch menu. 

Busy week of cooking demonstrations for the kids at St. Vincent de Paul School and ended with being asked to be part of a business symposium at Felician College.  Thanks to everyone who helped keep myself and the store humming along.

New items from last week:  parsnip/potato/asparagus/smoked salmon soup, pina colada cupcakes, coffee/hazelnut shortbread, brandy/apricot brownies and the temporary return of bananas foster brownies.

FYI: we have a patio, since a few long time customers noted that they never knew it was there. 

Also, contrary to perception of a few, we have plenty of parking.  In front of the store on our entire side of Main Street, next to the store on Hanthorn, and behind the building where there are anywhere from 2-5 spaces available at all times.  Plus, when you shop at the mall, go to the movies or even go to work, you probably have to park further away that when you visit B2.
