New items from last week:  return of the yule log cake, aka buche de noel, holiday cupcakes, gift baskets, cookie trays, pastry trays, orange/cranberry bread, banana bread,handmade gingerbread ornaments and cookie soup.

This holiday put us to the test, but we pulled through relatively unscathed.  We even found a few minutes to make some handmade gingerbread ornaments and a few other items that were neglected the past two years.  The only dissapointing part was that there were fewer desperate customers with that "wild" look in their eyes.  The ones that barge into the store looking for that last loaf of bread or last pie and are almost in tears as they find out they are too late and that they should have ordered ahead like everyone else.  Oh well, there is always next year.

Don't wait tooooooo long to place your orders for pickup on Christmas Eve.  We will be open for an additional hour on Saturday the 24th, until 4pm.  Then closed for Christmas and then we will reopen Monday the 26th at NOON.

New items from last week:  Mini PB&J mousse cups, gingerbread trees (because gingerbread men can't build gingerbread houses without trees), apple cider crumb pie, and mint/chocolate chip biscotti

Christmas is almost upon us, so don't procrastinate in placing your orders for the holiday.  Cookie trays, gift baskets, brownie trays and baskets, pies, holiday cupcakes and cookies, gift mugs filled with our homemade biscotti, and much more are available for pickup/order.  We will be open normal hours Christmas week, and will possibly stay open until 4pm on Christmas Eve. 

While you are planning ahead, keep in mind that we can supply cupcakes, cookies, pastries and bread for your office, school, or other parties, as well as New Years Eve. 

Our daily soup contest was a little more difficult than usual this past week.  I tried to make it easier by creating soups that only have a one word name.  "B", "C", "P", "L", and another "B" were the clues, how much easier could it be????
Butternut, Cheesesteak, Polish, Lasagna, and Bacon, with one correct guess on the Bacon soup, aka Heart Attack.

New items from last week:  ginger cookies with hazelnut buttercream, our 2nd Anniversary, burnt pumpkin cheesecake with orange/honey/cranberry compote, warm s'mores cake with chocolate sauce and pumpkin brownies.

Beautiful weather for the Dickens of a Festival that included additional crafters in the Presbyterian Church as well as the 2nd floor of the library.  It was great to see a nice crowd take some time out from their busy weekend to do some of their holiday shopping with local vendors.

The Eagles season has now passed into the overdrive phase of embarassing.....

We have new entered into our 3rd year of existence!!!!
